McVitie’s Christmas Biscuits

Well, I don’t know about anyone else, but these look amazing.

Chocolate digestives with a Christmas pudding flavours. Now I have to honest, Christmas pudding is like a necessary evil of Christmas. It’s like, here’s a massive dinner with all the potatoes and veg and meat you could ever eat and now I’m going to give you a bowl full of the heaviest, stodgiest fruit pudding covered in custard (yes I’m a custard man). It’s little wonder I’m not a big fan, I basically need to undo my trousers to eat it.

These things though, I could easily see myself having a couple of these with a nice cup of tea on Christmas eve afternoon once all the wrapping is done and dusted.

Next, we have gingerbread…

I’m a massive fan of gingerbread at Christmas. So much so, there’s even a whole guide on the blog talking about how to make a gingerbread house. I love the smell of gingerbread to be honest and I’d recommend it to anyone at Christmas for capturing the smell of the season.

I’m not sure if these will work though.

A ginger biscuit is a thing in and of itself so I can’t fully grasp how gingerbread, chocolate and a digestive go together. I’ll give them a go though.

If you’ve tried these, please let me know.

I’ll be reviewing both of them over the next few days.
