What would you put on a hot mince pie?

I asked this question on Twitter earlier this week. The vote was close…

I voted custard for the record. I’m clearly unusual!

I do not understand why you’d put a cold topping on a hot dessert, never been able to grasp that concept. Christmas pudding is the same, the wierdos who put cold Elmlea on top. What is the point of warming up the pudding if you’re putting something out of th fridge on top of it!!!!

Ah well…I’m still all in for custard.
